Route details

Day 1: SOUNIO – KEA

Nothing compares to the majestic sight of the Poseidon temple at Sounion, from the comfort of your yacht’s deck! The next day, a magnificent sunrise awaits you and your family further east, at Kea, the peacefully seductive Cyclades island that’s closest to Athens.

Day 2: TINOS

Tinos is the Christian center of the Cyclades, attracting tens of thousands of Orthodox and Catholic pilgrims each year. It’s also an alternative destination popular with nature and gastronomy lovers. The island’s largest beach is just to the east of the port city.

Day 3: SYROS

Once a bustling industrial hub, Syros’ capital of Ermoupoli has a 19th century ambiance thanks to its imposing neo-classical architecture. This city is a popular vacation retreat with a vibrant arts and culture scene, especially prevalent during the summer months.

Day 4: PAROS

Τhe island’s Environmental and Cultural park is situated just northeast of the bay of Monastiri and features easy trails and great views! You can also spend the day in whitewashed Naousa or east at Parikia, the island’s fashionable capital that’s busy well into September.

Day 5: ANTIPAROS – DESPOTIKO

In the quiet island paradise of Despotiko, the water separating the island with Antiparos is barely a meter deep. An ideal swimming spot, you can still discern the roads and building foundations of an ancient Greek city now lost forever beneath the waves.

Day 6: MILOS

The small fishing village of Pollonia in the northeastern part of Milos is a popular family destination. Take the kids to the thick-sanded beach nearby, then enjoy Greek delicacies in one of the traditional seaside taverns that line Pollonia’s coast.

Day 7: KYTHNOS

Kythnos is still a virgin destination where life doesn’t revolve around tourism. The island is surrounded by over 90 beaches including the rare Aegean double beach of Kolona. If you take the time to explore inland, Dryopida will transport your family back in time.
