Your day trip begins at a port about 50 km southeast of Athens (and about an hour by taxi) at 10 am.
Once you’ve boarded the fast RIB, you’ll be heading along the channel towards Dokos and reaching its sandy shores in just 75 minutes. You’ll stop at this rugged and mountainous island for an hour’s worth of swimming. Then, head off popular Spetses, stopping at famous Zogeria beach, the island’s best beach, surrounded by thick pine that reaches all the way down to the shore. When it’s time for lunch, there’s also a tavern right nearby for the obligatory beer and seafood fest.
Following lunch, you head north towards the Greek mainland opposite the island and Hinitsa bay for a final swim, before doubling back for Spetses’ Old Port. The Old Port’s where all the fashionable cafes are located, while the island’s promenade is ideal for a relaxing stroll. Get your coffee and Greek sweets on the pier, before heading off into the sunset for your return trip.
You’ll be back to your base before sunset, where you can take a taxi or bus back to the center of Athens.
